The aluminium rod casting & rolling production line is for making Aluminium rod by adopting continuous casting and rolling.

Continuous Casting system

Diameter of crystallizing wheel:    1500 mm

Cross section of crystallizing wheel: 2444 mm2

Cross sectional area of cast ingot:   2429 mm2

Casting speed:                  7.6~15 m/min

Rotating speed of crystallizing wheel: 1.66~3.3 rpm

Motor power:                   3 kw, DC

Cooling water pressure:           0.35~0.6Mpa

Cooling water flow:              60 tons/hr.

                          Inner cooling: 40 tons/hr.

                          Outer cooling: 20 tons/hr.

Type Y Continuous Rolling Mill

Type: Three rollers in Y arrangement

Transmission ratio between two neighboring stands: 1:1.25

Final rolling speed:                   6.2 m/sec.

Center height:                       902.5 mm

DC motor for main machine:           250 kW, 500rpm

Coiler with two baskets

Max. Coiling weight:                  1.5~2 tons

Max. Coiling diameter:                1800 mm
